Coffee is the most popular drink worldwide with over 400 billion cups consumed each year.
On the average, men drink more coffee than women (1.7 cups per day versus 1.5 cups).
37% of coffee drinkers drink their coffee black; while 63% add a sweetener such as sugar.

How To Make The Perfect Cup Of Coffee
Measure 1 Tablespoon per six-ounce cup (adjust on your taste preference).
Make sure yor coffeemaker and pot are as clean as possible. If you use an automatic drip maker, clean it regularly with a weak solution of water and vinegar, followed by a fresh water rinse.
98% of coffee is water, so use fresh, cold tap water, bottled water or distilled water.
Use the freshest coffee. If using beans, always grind them immediately before brewing. This will give a fresh taste and avoid bitter or stale flavours in your coffee.
Once your brew is finished, remove it from heat immediately. Leaving the brew in the coffee warmer will slowly destroy it's flavour. If you are making more than you intend to drink, store the coffee in a quality thermos.
Enjoy your fresh brewed cup of coffee. Never reheat coffee, or let it sit on a warmer for more than 20 minutes. At best, it will taste dull and stale; at worst, it will develop a bitter, acrid flavour.
Tips On Storing Coffee
It is important to store your coffee away from excessive air, moisture, heat, and light -- in that order to preserve it's fresh roast flavour as long as possible.
Store coffee in air-tight glass or ceramic containers and keep it in a convinient, but dark and cool location.
If you've purchased a large quantity of coffee that you will not use immediately, small portions, wrapped in airtight bags, can be stored in the freezer for up to a month. Once you've removed them from the freezer, however, do not return them. Instead move them to to an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place.
Different Coffee Roasts
Light Roasts -- light brown in color, provides a smooth taste, mild flavour and peak aroma.
Medium Roasts-- medium brown in color -- robust taste and full flavour.
Dark Roasts -- rich, dark color. Bold, smoky, bittersweet taste.
