God's Garden
Most women that I know like to garden & grow beautiful flowers and tasty vegetables. Nothing tastes better than fresh, home grown veggies. I know because as a child, my parents would grow a garden every summer. I can still see the beauty of it and remember the tastes and smells of the garden.
As women who know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we can grow in His garden, that is His word. How do we grow in Him? Let's take a look at His garden. Let's taste the sweetness of the Psalms, and see the freshness of the gospels. Jump into the juicyness of the Old Testament stories that still apply to our lives today. How about the crispness of the Prophets, the goodness of the Epistles, and the ripeness of Revelation. Take a good dose of this every day, along with prayer and meditation, and you will grow strong and healthy in the Lord. Happy gardening!
