Welcome
song playing is "Daddy's Hands"
My Hero
As I ponder the love I saw in his eyes,
A Godly love, given without compromise....
I recall many times that he stood by my side,
His voice ever confident, firm and yet fair,
Always speaking with patience, tenderness and care
The power and might of his hands was so sure,
I knew there was nothing we couldn't endure.
It's true, a few others provided insight,
Yet, he laid the foundation that kept me upright.
He's the grandest of men to have lived on this earth,
Although he's not royal by stature or birth.
He's a man of great dignity, honor and strength.
His merits are noble, and of admirable length.
He's far greater than all other men that I know,
He's my Dad, he's my mentor, my friend and hero.
-poem by Debbie Hinton Young-
This page is dedicated to my Dad. He's always been there when I needed him, and I know that he always will be. He brought us kids up with the knowledge of a Heavenly Father, who loves us more than our earthly father can. Thank you Dad for instilling in me the love of God. If you had never  given me anything else, that would have been number one on my list . But you did give me more, and I thank you for it. Thanks for the gift of music that you have passed down to me, the sacrifices that I know you made over the years to put food on the table, clothe us, and keep a roof over our heads. Thanks for being my mechanic, mentor, encourager, friend & Christian example. I love you! Happy Father's Day!
Your proud daughter, Judy

My Tribute To A Dad Named Ed

I truly believe everything I am today and all that I have accomplished in my life I owe to my dad named Ed!! my dad taught me if I want to get anywhere in life, hard work is a must and honesty is a requirement. He taught me this through his words and actions. My dad also let me be me, and trusted me with responsibility my entire life. He taught me the work ethic and what it means to honor your employer. My dad taught me right from wrong through discipline and a strong Christian background. Church was not an option in our house, but part of life just like eating or sleeping. My dad taught me how to praise my Lord in music and testimony. Even though my dad sometimes had to work 2and 3 jobs at a time, he still found time to spend with me going fishing and seeing grandma & grandpa. He came to many of my school events and I really appreciated that. Sometimes I would make mistakes in life, especially as a teenager, but my dad was always there and never lost faith that I would be o.k. After reading this, you might say my dad was perfect. Well, that is not true, because no one is perfect, but he was perfect to me. When my dad did make mistakes, he would coach and teach me not to make the mistake he did, and did that help me in my life. Well, I could go on for many sentences, but I think you get the message. I have a great dad, and on this Father's Day I pay tribute to Ed my DAD. I love my dad because he loves me and prays for me always. I hope when I'm 70 years old I have the same reputation as my dad has. Happy Father's Day to my dad.
